The Platte County R-3 School District has been awarded a $75,000 technology grant from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to upgrade its computer infrastructure and expand broadband access to all school buildings. The comprehensive grant will fund new computers for the high school computer lab, improve WiFi coverage at rural elementary schools, provide professional development for teachers in digital literacy, and establish a coding bootcamp for high school students interested in technology careers.
