Infrastructure improvements target three-mile stretch of highway through downtown Weston
The Weston City Council unanimously approved a $2.3 million budget allocation Tuesday evening for comprehensive road repairs along Broadway, the main commercial corridor through downtown.
The project, scheduled to begin in June, will address structural damage and potholes on approximately three miles of the state highway. City Engineer Patricia Chen told the council that the pavement has deteriorated significantly over the past five years.
