The Weston High School girls' softball team earned a trip to the state semifinals with a dominant 3-0 victory over Parkville High School in the regional championship game Saturday. Pitcher Sarah Martinez delivered a complete-game shutout, striking out nine batters and allowing just three hits. The defense was equally impressive, with no errors and several outstanding plays.
